| Paul and Geri Schaefer |
To formally introduce ourselves, our names are Paul and Geri Schaefer. We are independent financial advisors. Our business is not tied to one investment company’s programs or family of funds. This allows us to place the needs of our clients first. We have a moderately conservative investment outlook with concentration focused toward outperforming the S&P 500. We do research to find the best performing investment options with the lowest fees possible. We offer securities through Oberweis Securities Inc., which is a full service financial consulting business. Brokerage accounts with Oberweis Securities Inc. are carried by National Financial Services, LLC, a Fidelity Investments Company. Securities in accounts carried by NFS are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (“SIPC”) up to $500,000 (including cash claims limited to $100,000). NFS has arranged for additional unlimited insurance protection for cash and securities to supplement its SIPC coverage. Neither coverage protects against a decline in the market value of securities.
At Eagle Investment Services, we manage client portfolios including mutual funds, stocks, corporate and agency bonds, annuities, insurance, and even CDs. Through Oberweis Securities Inc. we offer access to Bloomberg capabilities, real-time quotes, convenient statements that show up online as well as traditional brokerage trades that offer cost basis information.
We have been in business for twenty one years and manage approximately $45,000,000 in assets for 790 client accounts. Our clients are located in twenty-three states and overseas. The area we concentrate on the most is financial planning for long term investing. Other areas we have built a strong foundation in are: retirement and tax planning, asset allocation, 529 college education funding, and monthly dollar cost averaging investing. Our most important responsibility is to give our clients personalized service so they are able to achieve their long-term financial planning goals. *
